“I have no regrets. I know I made the right choice.”
This is what AngelLocsin said of her more than six months of being a Kapamilya.
The actress is very thankful for all the wonderful breaksbeing given to her in her new home.
“In my first month with ABS-CBN, I’ve been very vocal thatI’m happy with what I did and I am very grateful for all the projects thenetwork has lined up for me. They are really helping me a lot in improving mycraft,” explained Angel.
Her first project, Lobo,opposite Piolo Pascual, didn’t onlyintroduce her to the Philippines and around the world as an official Kapamilya,but it also catapulted her way above stardom as one of her generations finestdramatic actress.
“I owe everything to my amazing directors in Lobo, Cathy Garcia-Molina and FMReyes and of course to Piolo who is very fun to work with and a very goodactor. I learned a lot from them,” said Angel.
Just recently, Angel celebrated her 23rdbirthday, her first at ABS-CBN.
Like a true Kapamilya member, she got a well-deservedbirthday treat from in Asap 08 wheresurprised the audience as she showed off her dancing prowess that has neverbeen seen on television.
“I was also surprised (laughs)! It was a promise I made to Asap. I want to keep my promises andeven if it’s quite hard, I hope the viewers enjoyed it,” she explained.
The whole cast and crew of Lobo also gave her a surprise birthday party during one of theirtapings but her most memorable celebration would have to be the one’s sheshared with the kids of Payatas, Q.C—a celebration Angel herself initiated todo.
“I wanted to give back to my fans as much as possiblebecause they are the reason why I am here. They are my inspiration andeverything I do is for them,” she said.
Angel is set to start work on a movie with Piolo, her firstfor Star Cinema, which might be released in the latter part of the year.
“We are very much focused on Lobo right now that is why we can’t start filming our movie justyet. But I hope fans do watch out for it because it will be fun, romantic and atotally new Angel and Piolo will definitely be seen,” she added.
