MIGRATING...what it means for me...

A couple of weeks ago, I found out that my step mom's petition has been approved. In June, she --- together with my dad and my youngest sister --- will be flying off to the US. What do I feel about this? I hate it.

I hate the thought of losing another parent...hate the thought of getting separated from my sister (I've three siblings and we're one rowdy, inseparable bunch)...hate the fact that they have no plans whatsoever about what they'll do there for a living, and who'd take care of everything and everyone that are left behind...I hate the fact that I wasn't informed about it earlier...and on top of everything, I hate it that I don't have my mom nor my husband beside me to talk to about these feelings.

Why? Why do they have to migrate when there's no promise of a better life back there? Gosh, have so many why's don't really know why.
